Best of 2017: Holy Hill Shrine, Erin WI

On a return trip to SE Wisconsin to visit my mom last September, stopped at the scenic Roman Catholic shrine NW of Milwaukee metro area.  Set upon a hill in the Kettle Moraine glacial area, the views are wonderful, it would be great destination during peak fall colors.  The only disturbing aspect was the stain glass window with a very unhappy looking savior.  I would not cross this man… ahem, forgive me.
