Best of 2014: April Piles bring no smiles

2014 had to be the worst winter I lived through since moving to Minnesota in 1982.  April was almost like late February and spring didn’t even start in earnest until May.  I didn’t take any 35mm photography in February and March having thrown in the towel against the elements.

Tree trunk and the wall of winter's reminds, General Mills Campus Red wing on a twig, General Mills Nature Reserve Seed heads from last season Geese grazing late day A cattail clinger Ice boat dock is open, Medicine Lake Wood pilings and a icy reflection, French Lake Regional Park Mississippi below CRpds dam, watch the ice chucks flow Damn ice chunk, ice chunk over the dam The ice melteth and evening hues, Fish Lake Park Sunblock through the shelter dormer
