January 2013 Month in Review, Jan 31st I’m definitely a Zionist Part 1

Bluffs near Zion Natl Park Branch and streaked rock Ciff wall and frozen falls, Zion Canyon NPk Cliff face with character, Zion Canyon Natl Pk 004 Cliff face with character, Zion Canyon Natl Pk 006 Hot and cold, trees contrasted against red cliffs in pm sun, Zion Canyon NPk Light and dark in Zion's canyonlands 004 Stained rock and little water fold Winter floral in SW Utah 002Photos from a side trip up to Zion National Park, really a incredible canyon of soaring cliffs and being winter some great contrasts with bare trees and the red cliffs.  I thought this park is comparable to Yosemite in awesome rock formations.
