Theme of the Month extended: September 2012 Fall forest, MN River Valley scenics

Couldn’t get all of April’s theme in during the month,  so we are  overlapping  into May.  Ah May where again snow is falling , where we refuse here in Minnesota to give in to the clutches of Spring, Summer and maybe Fall but that’s too early to say.  Don’t you  have to have  leaves on the trees to have Fall don’t you?  I digress.  Today’s post includes one shot from September 22, 2012 from my favorite dog walking area, Wayzata High School woods, the rest from stops along the Minnesota River valley where more migrating birds were seen and some peaceful water near Chaska.  A bend in the River, MN River by Chaska 002 A geese and pelican meeting A trail of rocks on side channel of the Minnesota River, near Chaska Cranes making approach for landing, MN River Valley Rec Area Fall colors in Wayzata HS Woods 002 Fall grasses and stump Geese and pelicans on the Minnesota River by Louisville swamp NWR 004 Old building in MN River Valley Recreational Area 002 Pelicans gather along shore of pond near MN River, MN River Valley Rec.
