A New York Second (look): 9/11 Memorial on another sad day Part I

I got the chance to see the 9/11 Memorial for the first time on December 14, 2012; on my previous visit to NYC it was  still under construction.  About the same time I visited here,  another tragedy was unfolding about 100 miles away in Newtown, CT at a elementary school called Sandy Hook .  A reminder that evil comes in many guises, and manifests itself all too often.  But memorials like this one make sure we never forget.
