A Photo a Day #6 – My future hometown

A look at my future, it was 1976 and my friend Jeff and myself had siblings at University of MN and we wanted to check out the city and get away from Wisconsin.  It was around Thanksgiving and it was colder than snot which should have been a warning to me, but I liked what I saw and have been living in the Minneapolis and metro area since 1983.  This is a photo of the newer IDS tower which was alone on the Minneapolis skyline being by far the tallest building in downtown.  I took it from the Crystal Court which is  retail and restaurant area just off the main building.
