New York State of Mind: Midtown gems and view at the top of the Rock

The last full afternoon of the trip to NYC was focused on Midtown sites.  No museums but lots of great architecture.  After a quick dash through Times Square went to Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, NYC Public Library, Byrant (Gamble?) Park, Grand Central Terminal, the lobby of the Chrysler building, and back to 50 Rockefeller Plaza for the views at the Top of the Rock.  I see why people fall in love with this town.
